国际学生 新生核对表

If 你 are a new student coming from outside of 的 United States, please follow 的 下面的步骤:

1. Pay 的 SEVIS Fee (I-901 Fee) $350到美国.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement 机构在 www.fmjfee.com.  
2. Sign 的 enclosed Form I-20 in 蓝色墨水 在第一页
3. Review all 的 instructions on 的 Form I-20 on page 3  
4. 完整的 的 online Non-immigrant Visa Application (Form DS-160) at http://ceac.state.gov/ceac. Print 的 application and bring it to 你r visa interview 
5. Schedule 你r visa interview 在离你最近的地方.S. 大使馆或领事馆. Please remember to check with 的 Embassy or Consulate for what additional documents 你 will need to bring or prepare for 你r 访问面试 www.usembassy.政府. Documents 你 may need to bring may include bank 状态ments, letter of admission, 英语考试成绩等. 
   • 请注意: You may be able to schedule an Emergency Appointment with 的 consulate to expedite 你r appointment due to COVID-19 and long visa backlogs. Contact 你r local consulate 了解更多信息.
6. Bring 你r signed and original Form I-20 with 你, along with any required documents 联合国声明.S. 大使馆或领事馆, to 你r visa interview

If 你 are a student changing status from o的r visa type, please follow 的 following 步骤:

1. Pay 的 SEVIS Fee (I-901 Fee) $350到美国.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement 机构在 www.fmjfee.com.

5. After 你 have submitted 你r application to USCIS and as soon as 你 receive 你r 收到通知, properly scan and 电子邮件 的 confirmation to 的 International Student Center at iso@帕萨迪纳市.edu. 
6. If 你r Change of Status application is not approved by 的 first day of classes, please contact 的 International Student Center at iso@帕萨迪纳市.edu or (626) 585-7808 to discuss 你r options

Important Information about Change of Status

• You must maintain 你r current non-immigrant status until 你r Change of Status application 被美国移民局批准了吗. If 你 are not sure, consult with 的 International Student Center
• Do not travel outside of 的 United States while 你r Change of Status application 正在等待美国移民局的批准. Your Change of Status application will be cancelled by USCIS 如果你离开美国.S. 
• If 你 are changing from a B1/B2 visitor’s visa, do not enroll or begin 你r studies until USCIS has approved 你r change of status. If USCIS has not adjudicated, or decided on 你r change of status at least 15 days before 的 first day of 的 semester (program start date listed on 你r Form I-20), please contact us at iso@帕萨迪纳市.edu 
• If 你 are changing from F2 to F1 status, 你 can enroll only up to 11.9个学分(兼职) 在PCC

If 你 are a continuing student transferring from ano的r college or university, please 请遵循以下步骤:

Please request 你r current school to release 你r SEVIS (immigration) record to Pasadena City College so we can issue 你r PCC 转移-Pending I-20. 

PCC SEVIS CODE: LOS214F00788000

1. Please talk to 的 international student office at 你r current school to ask about what 你 need to do to transfer 你r I-20 SEVIS record to PCC.
2. If 你 are still taking classes at 你r current school, do not release 你r I-20 SEVIS record to PCC until 你 have completed all 你r classes at 你r current school.
3. If 你 are going to travel outside 的 United States before attending PCC, please plan ahead and figure out which school’s I-20 你 will use to travel.
   • If 你 are using 你r current school’s I-20 to travel, DO NOT ask 你r current school to release 你r I-20 to PCC until 你 return to 的 United States. 
   • If 你 are using PCC’s transfer-pending I-20 to travel, please plan ahead and request 你r current school to release 你r I-20 SEVIS record to PCC so that we issue 你 a PCC transfer-pending I-20 before 你 leave 的 U.S. 
   • We recommend that 你 avoid all unessential travel outside 的 U.S. 直到你 fully transferred and registered as a PCC student.
